2. Principles

We process personal data only as far as necessary to run the website and to handle your order. We use no analytics, tracking or advertising services, no social media plugins and no advertising cookies. Fonts are served from our own server, not from Google.

3. Visiting the website (server logs)

When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data sent by your browser: IP address, date and time, page requested, data volume, browser type and operating system. This data is required to deliver the page and keep the system secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). It is not merged with other data and is deleted after a short time.

Hosting: the website runs on the app platform Base44 (Wix.com Ltd., 40 Namal Tel Aviv St., Tel Aviv, Israel) and its infrastructure providers. Where data is processed outside the European Union, this is based on adequacy decisions of the EU Commission (including for Israel) or the EU standard contractual clauses. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

4. Orders and contract handling

When you order, we process the data you enter in the order form: first and last name, e-mail address, delivery address, phone number if given, the items ordered, the payment method chosen and your confirmations regarding the terms, the withdrawal instructions and the condition of the goods. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

We use this data to confirm the order, match your payment, ship the goods and handle warranty or withdrawal cases. The order confirmation and further messages about your order are sent by e-mail via our hosting provider's infrastructure.

We keep order data as long as necessary for processing, for warranty and withdrawal periods and for statutory retention duties, at most ten years after the end of the year of the order.

5. Payment

For bank transfers we see the data your bank transmits with the transfer (name, IBAN, reference). If you pay via PayPal, the privacy policy of PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22–24 Boulevard Royal, 2449 Luxembourg, additionally applies; we receive your name, e-mail address and payment status from PayPal. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

6. Shipping

For delivery we pass your name, delivery address and, where needed for delivery, your e-mail address or phone number to the carrier (e.g. Deutsche Post / DHL). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

7. Customer account

You may voluntarily create a customer account. We then store your login data (e-mail, password in encrypted form), your profile and address data, your orders and your wishlist until you delete the account. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Login is handled by the authentication of our platform Base44; if you sign in with Google, Google's privacy policy additionally applies. To delete your account, simply e-mail [to be entered in Admin → Shop settings].

8. Withdrawal function

If you withdraw from a contract via the withdrawal function, we store your name, e-mail address, order number, your details about the withdrawal and the date and time of receipt, and we send you an acknowledgement of receipt by e-mail. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR (§ 356a German Civil Code).

9. Contact

If you contact us by e-mail or phone, we process your details to handle the request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, for general enquiries (f)). We delete the data once the request is settled and no retention duties apply.

10. Local storage in your browser

The website stores in your browser (local storage) only what is technically necessary: the chosen language, the contents of your cart and, if you are logged in, your login session. This storage is strictly necessary for the function you requested and requires no consent. You can delete the data at any time via your browser settings.

11. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • right of access (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
  • right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).

To exercise them, simply e-mail [to be entered in Admin → Shop settings]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the state data protection commissioner responsible for our place of residence.

12. Data security
